GIRL, LET'S TALK ABOUT PERIODS EDUCATION PROGRAM

Hello

A year-round outreach and education program focused on equipping young people with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to understand their menstrual health. This program brings engaging, age-appropriate menstrual education into schools, youth organizations, and community spaces to ensure no student is left behind when it comes to their cycle.

We believe that learning about your period should feel empowering, not embarrassing. Through interactive activities, affirmations, and peer-based learning, participants gain both practical knowledge and a sense of pride about their changing bodies.

WHAT WE DO:

  • Facilitate fun, safe, and informative workshops in school classrooms, after-school programs, and community settings

  • Provide free menstrual product kits, journals, and educational tools tailored for youth

  • Collaborate with educators, school nurses, and youth workers to integrate menstrual education into existing curricula or programming

  • Use storytelling, hands-on activities, and group discussion to promote body literacy, wellness, and self-advocacy

WHO IT'S FOR:

  • Elementary, middle, and high school students (typically ages 9–17) who are new to menstruation, approaching their first period, or still learning about their changing bodies

  • Educators, counselors, nurses, and after-school staff who want to bring accurate, inclusive, and culturally relevant menstrual education into the classroom

  • Youth-serving organizations, community groups, and enrichment programs looking to provide welcoming, age-appropriate health sessions for the young people they support
