OUR PROGRAMS
THE RED TABLE TALK
Red Table Talk is an engaging and informative program designed for girls in grades 3 through 12, providing them with a safe and supportive space to ask the difficult questions they may have about menstruation. This initiative encourages open discussions, helping young ladies navigate their menstrual health with confidence. By fostering honest conversations, Red Table Talk aims to break the stigma surrounding periods and ensure that no question goes unanswered.

Throughout the session, we cover a range of topics related to the menstrual cycle, including what to expect during puberty, how to manage periods with different products, recognizing signs of potential health concerns, and understanding the emotional and physical changes that come with menstruation. The goal is to educate, empower, and equip young menstruators with the knowledge they need to embrace this natural transition with confidence and self-assurance.

CATERPILLAR CUTIES
Caterpillar Cuties is a program through The P.U.P.A Project, dedicated to ensuring that all menstruators have the support they need—both on and off the field. Rooted in our core pillars of access, education, and awareness, this program provides free sports bras to athletes in Mississippi who may face financial barriers to obtaining proper support.

Puberty brings many transitions, and for menstruators in sports, access to well-fitted sports bras is essential for both comfort and confidence. By addressing this need, Caterpillar Cuties empowers young athletes to focus on their performance without limitations, ensuring that no one is forced to sit on the sidelines due to lack of resources.
GIRL, LET'S TALK ABOUT PERIODS SUMMER CAMP
Girl, Let’s Talk About Periods Summer Camp is a transformative week-long event held each summer for young women in the Greater Jackson Area. This camp provides a welcoming and educational space where participants can dive deep into understanding their menstrual cycles and learn essential self-care practices for maintaining menstrual health. Through interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and open discussions, attendees gain valuable knowledge about their bodies, helping them navigate their cycles with confidence.

To ensure a well-rounded and informative experience, The P.U.P.A Project invites a diverse group of professionals, including OBGYNs, therapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare experts. These specialists educate participants on the connections between menstrual health and overall well-being, addressing topics such as hormonal balance, nutrition, mental health, and physical wellness. By the end of the camp, young menstruators leave feeling empowered, informed, and better equipped to manage their menstrual health throughout their lives.
